Seoul OOTD 1 : Off-Duty Idol

When I arrived in Seoul, I knew I wanted to blend in with the effortlessly cool street style here, and what better way to try than to channel the look of an off-duty K-pop idol? I’d seen countless idols rocking casual yet fashionable outfits, and today, I was determined to put my spin on it.

I decided to go all-in with denim—because nothing says “chill but stylish” like a good pair of jeans and a classic denim jacket. I opted for a fitted denim jacket with a slightly oversized vibe to give it that laid-back, model-off-duty look. Underneath, I layered a plain white tee, simple but essential, to keep things fresh and comfortable.

For the bottom, I chose high-waisted denim jeans, with just the right amount of distressing to give it that slightly rugged feel. I kept the footwear casual with a pair of white sneakers—easy to walk in, but still stylish enough to complement the look. To finish it off, I added a black baseball cap for a bit of extra flair, and some sunglasses to give off that cool, mysterious vibe.

As I walked through the streets of Seoul, I couldn’t help but feel like I was blending right into the city’s fashion scene. People here have this effortless confidence, and I definitely felt a little bit like a K-pop idol myself (or at least like I could be one). I’m sure I’ll have plenty more outfits to share during my trip, but this one? It’s definitely a solid start. Here’s to dressing the part and feeling the vibe of Seoul!
